Game #5 Barrett Bolter's 11 Aces Power Broadneck to Dominant Sweep of Meade Bruins hold Mustangs to 26 total points in their third consecutive straight-set victory. DMV Volley | September 24, 2026 FORT MEADE, Md. — Broadneck's serving pressure overwhelmed Meade on Thursday as the Bruins rolled to a 25-7, 25-12, 25-7 victory. The sweep improved Broadneck to 4-1 and extended its winning streak to three matches. Barrett Bolter produced a standout all-around performance, finishing with 11 aces, 22 service points, four kills, 16 assists, eight digs and a block. Neely Olish added five aces, 14 service points and six assists, while Marley Evans contributed 14 service points and three kills. The Bruins also spread the o`ensive workload. Chloe Hays finished with six kills, Emma Graves and Ella Luscomb recorded five apiece, and Khloe Smith added four. Meade managed just seven points in both the first and third sets, highlighting the gap Broadneck established. For a Bruins team that had already demonstrated o`ensive balance, the performance reinforced another advantage: its ability to create separation through serving. Broadneck's next challenge was a matchup with Severn Run, which entered the week unbeaten. DMV Volley Takeaway: Bolter's 11-ace performance demonstrated how dangerous Broadneck can be when its serving game is clicking. The Bruins can create scoring runs without relying exclusively on their attack.
