UPPER MARLBORO, Md. — A week after surviving an overtime battle against Flowers, Wise returned to its dominant form Friday night, overwhelming Bowie, 51-0, behind an explosive passing performance from quarterback Rylan Willimas. Willimas completed 10 of 13 passes for 270 yards and two touchdowns as the Pumas delivered one of their most complete performances of the young season. The Wise quarterback averaged nearly 21 yards per pass attempt, repeatedly generating substantial yardage through the air against the Bulldogs. Fullback Theodore Riley also made a significant impact, rushing for 46 yards and four touchdowns on six carries. Riley's production gave the Pumas another effective scoring option, complementing an offense that had already demonstrated its strength on the ground in earlier victories. Defensively, Wise recorded its first shutout of the season, preventing Bowie from scoring in all four quarters. The victory improved the Pumas to 3-0 and marked their second win by more than 40 points in three games. Bowie fell to 1-3 following the defeat. For Wise, the performance provided a strong response to the close contest against Flowers and demonstrated the depth of an offense capable of producing through multiple players.
